The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.
We Stood up for what was right. We fought for moral reasons. We passed laws, struck down laws for moral reasons. We waged wars on poverty, not poor people. We sacrificed. We cared about our neighbors. We put our money where our mouths were and we never beat our chest. We built great big things, made ungodly techonological advances, explored the universe, cured diseases, and we cultivated the world’s greatest artists, and the world’s greatest economy. We reached for the stars, acted like man. We aspired to intelligence. We didn’t belittle it. It didn’t make us feel inferior.
The first step in solving any problem is recognizing there is one.
You can’t fear failure because in doing so, you are inviting failure. Only those who will risk going too far can possible find out how far one can go.
Don’t ignore your dreams; don’t work too much; say what you think; cultivate friendships; be happy.
The happiest, most successful children have parents who do not do for them what they are capable of doing, or almost capable of doing; and their parents do not do things for them that satisfy their own needs rather than the needs of the child.

Most succesfull people start their day with two beliefs: the future can be better than the present, and I have the power to make it so.
